I don’t know man.  I am just putting my thoughts out there.  ou, Tenn and Fla are flat out sending 6 on 5 or 7 on 5 every play.  You and I would have a difficult time taken on 3 dudes, correct?   I am not ruling out Arch’s bad decisions against ou and then not prtectinv the ball in then end yesterday, I am just not ready to put the blame on him, “yet”

There’s lots of blame to go around. Sark isn’t going to fire himself, but he can see if another QB can operate more effectively.

Problem still remains that Sark has no answer for when defenses send 6 and 7 guys after Arch.  Every DC has looked like a genius against Texas and then go back to reality when they play other teams.  I am assuming Sark has removed all bootlegs, TE slants and draw plays from his playbook because these aggressive defenses have not been punished for their aggressiveness.

100% on Sark

I've landed on he is a great play designer and a bad play sequencer. His in-game adjustments leave a lot to be desired as well.

I won't go as far to say 100% on him bc there's still basic stuff I see Arch miss routinely. Sark definitely shoulders more of it, IMO, bc he's the head man.

Arch having zero confidence in himself as a quarterback is the issue. Just like a three point shooter who needs to see the ball go through the hoop, Arch needs to build his confidence on the easy throws. It's either he has all the time in the world and he's late (and he knows he's late, which is why he'll go for the big shot) or he has his center and right guard in his lap before he can even make a decision.

How do you help a struggling QB?

Sometimes letting him sit can clear his head.

I have a TON of respect for Tillman Holloway.

My redshirt freshman year as a linebacker at Texas was Tillman's senior year.

On the field, he was an animal and made practice fun for a young defensive player still trying to figure out college ball. Off the field, he was a fun-loving guy who always had some silly antics in the locker room and, at the same time, some thought-provoking words he'd speak. The latter part of that statement still holds true to this day.

His tweet below, while long, deserves its own thread, IMO.

Unfortunately, if we don't change the OL or make the OL coach come to the sidelines out of the booth to start chewing some OL derriere, and change the person playing QB, it doesn't matter who's calling the plays.

He can hire a play caller after the season.

Kyle Flood is on the sidelines and always has been. AJ Milweed is the coach in booth.

My bad. I've never seen him chewing out the OL after their lousy play, so I assumed he was in the booth. Thanks!
