It should. Too much has been made about the play calling. Is he perfect? Of course not. But poor QB play makes for bad offense

If Sark doesn't know his QB has trouble with the offense he's running now that his QB is in his 4th year,  then it is on Sark,  the offense he runs and the plays he calls.  Either simplify the offense or get someone that is capable of running it.  We had patience with Arch when he got the starting role,  but he has been around enough he should be able to run the offense.

We constantly hear how good Arch is in practice but it doesn't transfer to the games,  then you might need to change the way you practice.

We don't need to single out one or the other,  Sark or Arch,  neither one is doing a good job.

I agree, ultimately it’s on Sark. But issue #1 is Arch.

That’s right,  but you know that definition of insanity. Sark’s walking pretty close to that edge with his handling of this offense.

The choice is clear, either fix Arch or bench him. As DKR once said to James Street, “Aw hell, you can’t do any worse!”

I don't know what to say. CJ Vogel has been on this from the very beginning. Brooks Austin has been all over it....and on it for a awhile as well: the footwork, the mechanics, the processing, the speed of play, the decision making. Now, Max Browne adds to it. But, for this site, I give CJ all the credit and Gerry walked into his camp yesterday saying: start Lacey vs Ole Miss. What's crazy is: Sark is watching the same film as everyone else but is giving Arch a ton of rope here to continue to play him. I ask this now: If you don't start Lacey, what is it going to take to convince you to sit Arch? The answer will be: We are losing 21-3. GEEZE! My biggest problem is with those who look at the scoreboard versus those who watch the field of play. There are those that say: The OLine is the problem, the RBs and the TEs need to step up and block - then they cherry pick 2 plays in the game to prove their point without holding Arch to the same standard. I think after CJ, Brooks and now Max the breakdowns have begun to get some traction. Arch is at best and average QB - at best. I don't care about the flashes, I desire consistency. Max even uses the word "lucky" for some those flashes. Then, those that love Arch or who are slow to come around talk about his record - again joining the crowd of the scoreboard watchers. Arch fails the test of fundamental QB play. I'm willing to bet you that if you called up every Coach of a Team in The Top 20, they would be reluctant to take Arch through the Portal. Not gonna happen and that tells you all you need to know. It is time to move on. Arch has done a lot for the Program. I like Arch as a kid, but as a QB for The Univ of Texas, I'm not a Fan and haven't been for awhile. Finally, that tent has begun to grow. Hey, if my wife who is from Louisiana and a fan of The Mannings can say Arch does not have it for the standard of The Univ of Texas and that he needs to move on - if she can see it long before any action has taken place then seriously, Sark, put The Team first and Lets Go! CJ is The Best! Hook'em!!!

Wow.. Extremely eye opening. Think about it; with this hesitancy, lack of vision, and decision making the offense is (backed up by numbers) executing at about 20% and we are 4-2 with wins against Ohio State and Tennessee. This should show you how good this team is outside of the QB position. I am not saying KJ is some bonafied stud and it is a unfortunate that we have poured 21 starts of experience into a guy that we cannot trust in an "All In" year. However it is Sark's job to do the best thing for the team right now and after everything that has occurred this year that is to change quarterbacks. If that move can take that 20% operating rate and even turn it into 25 or 30% it is a win.
