Cody1987 Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago @Gerry Hamilton what do you think the reason he doesn’t have control of the offense? More sark not wanting him to check out or he’s just not reading defenses and knowing the correct checks? Quote

There are open receivers and open running lanes and Arch is freezing like a scare-goat. He's broken. Can he fix it tomorrow night? Certainly. Do we expect him to? We are hopeful, but not confident. But to say this dysfunction is on Sark, the play caller, is ridiculous. Have you considered even if there are open receivers it's not the offense arch is apt to run and make decisions in? Come on now Quote

It has a quote next to pictures of Arch that insinuate Arch is the person being quoted and says in smaller print that it is actually attributed to Ran Carthon. Who the hell is Ran Carthon? A lot of people will read this and feed the other rumors. All true but did you see who liked it? Quote
TheRoJoShow Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago (edited) “Develop” lol. Are these people braindead? Does developing QBs mean picking the number 1 QB transfer each year? Cam- transfer for 1 year Beck- transfer for 1 year Mensah- transfer for 1 year NTM they play dogsh&t opponents and rack their stats up. Who is the last QB they actually developed over more than one season? Edited 13 hours ago by TheRoJoShow 2 Quote

Moderators Gerry Hamilton Posted 13 hours ago Moderators Posted 13 hours ago I want to be clear on something, I'm a fan of Arch Manning. Have defended him as the only HS athlete I ever seen built up and torn down. I hope he goes out Saturday are flips the script on his season, but I'm going to be real on how bad I think its been this year. 2 Quote

I could see him at Indiana. It's a run first offense where the QB is more a manager and only has to make a limited amount of crucial plays. 1 Quote

Atxdubstep Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago I hope he gets it turned around and performs well. If he did transfer, would he pick Tennessee or Ole Miss. They both might need a QB next year. Quote
Bdub12 Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago 5 hours ago, Gerry Hamilton said: Arch and the system/Sark are two different convos. Arch, specifically, is playing the QB position at a woefully bad level despite having three NFL level WR’s around him. He’s making head scratching QB plays that are 7th grade level, and he’s not processing and he’s also been bad in the pocket this year. Throwing the ball beyond the LOS 2 times in a game - never seen that before on any level of football. Doing that in back to back games - never seen that before. His melt down is among the worst I’ve ever seen. That’s not putting all the offensive woes on him, but a lot of it is. Without quality QB play, an offense has zero shot. IMO, he’s leaving 125’ish yards on the field every game and 10-14 points . Never seen a fourth year QB not be able to be trusted to check in and out of bad plays, and have command of the offense before. Sark himself said he doesn’t have the QB check in and out of plays. It’s run my play Quote
Jordan91 Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Did it ever occur to people that Arch may not be that good? I mean it’s not like there is no on field evidence. Quote

So, I guess we all just imagined the back half of last year in performances against Vanderbilt, Arkansas, 2nd half A&M, and Michigan? Hell, he was one of the only guys that really showed up to play vs Georgia. Quote

There are but this was also the same guy that was carrying the offense the 2nd half last year. So what changed? How did he lose his confidence to this degree? Why did he go from playing with so much swagger his first two years to now? Why did he look way better starting vs Mississippi St with only 1 start under his belt two years ago than he does now after 20+?? What I see someone that's being overcoached to the point that they are overthinking every decision and no longer trust themselves. Imagine an elite streetballer from NYC being forced to play in a one dribble, cut and screen motion offense in basketball for the sake of his "development". You'd get a shell of that guy and wonder if he could even play at all when the reality is he's in the wrong system. What perplexes me is that Arch & Sark had real success the back half of last year. How did we not grow on that? How did we go backwards? Sark knows what Arch is capable so that's the part that I don't quite understand. 1 Quote
Thorn007 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago he should go texas tech. easier schedule. can sark figure a better play besides the pass to the side behind the line of scrimmage. teams figured that out already. maybe the problem vvvvvv Arch Surgery and Recovery Details Type of Surgery: Minor, preventative foot surgery to clean up and fix a lingering issue. Time Out / Sidelined: He did not miss any games (the surgery took place in the offseason in January 2026 after the season concluded). Spring Practice Limitations: He was limited during spring drills and offseason workouts for a few months. Full Clearance: He returned to light throwing and individual drills by April 2026 and received full medical clearance for summer workouts by May 2026. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6] Quote

If Sark felt Arch was better than Quinn he would have transferred. So take that with the entire time Arch has been the starter. Look at the whole body of work. Quote
