Good afternoon On Texas Football,

I know it's far too early to have much conviction in this prediction but if you had to choose right now...

Who would you predict to be Texas' leading receiver in catches, yards, and touchdowns next season?

Bobby, You don’t think he’ll be used in the keilan role and special teams mainly? Didn’t think he would get enough touches to possibly be our leading receiver.

He had 54 catches last year, more than both Bond and Golden. He’s a natural pass catcher.

I could see Wisner taking that specific role.

I'm thinking Bond is the safest bet, but I am extremely excited to see how Wingo looks by the time fall rolls around!

A 2025 offense of Wingo, Johntay and Golden still is a very impressive crop.

Wisner have that type of speed to take over the keilan role or is that not the only trait sark looks for in it?

Yes, I think he has that level of elite acceleration.

Texas is loaded with speed on offense right now IMO.

Silas Bolden.

Yep, him being in the slot. He's going to get a lot of targets in the screen game. Bond, Cook, and Golden will be more dependent on Ewers taking that final step and hitting the deep ball. I hope we see a lot of 10 personnel to keep everyone happy.

Really a 25/25/25/25 split between 21, 12, 11, and 10 personnel. We have the players to pull it off. OL and Ewers hold the key to make sure all those guys get fed by running into the 80s plays a game on offense. last year we were at 71.5, so an increase of 8 or 9 shouldn't be a problem with elite OL play, and a quicker decision making from Ewers in his progressions.

I think Bond will be the guy. But I think Sark is going to have his pick of WR talent this year, it's going to be insane. Plus don't forget you'll have Blue and Baxter out of the backfield, who are both + receivers there.

Plus having Niblack, Bond, Bolden, Golden or Cook out there, with Blue at RB would be a nightmare to defend. So much speed to contend with.

The question is will there be a K Rob role next year? That was more of a defined role, when the top 2 were Bijan and Rojo, KRob brought a different element to the backfield, than those 2.  Blue is one of the fastest players on the team. Not sure you need to bring in someone from the bench to play that part. That said I am sure Silas will get some specific plays to get him in space..

As for the main question, I have to go Bond. Mostly because I have the most confidence in him being the starter. After Bond call it 2 spots for 3 guys (Cook, Bolden, and Golden)

Aaron Butler being ignored is surprising.  Livingstone has size and speed.  Dubois may get faster too.  Wingo is just too talented not to have some impact this fall.

How quickly the freshmen learn routes and blocking will be most interesting by the end of Spring practice.

Is he? You have 3 productive WRs that were brought in through the portal. You also have 3 talented 2nd year players in Cook, Moore, and Nibblett. I could definitely see Wingo getting some spot time, but I have doubt on the others. Last year Cook was 4th in reception among WRs with 8.

It is such a loaded room, that's why I asked the question. I couldn't contain my own built up excitement as Sark's full vision is truly now in place in year 4.

The unpredictable array of talent and versatility this group possesses is down right scary, especially considering Quinn will have another year of development. The move to the sec may limit statistical numbers somewhat compared to big 12 play but the offensive line continues to progress and I expect a big step forward for a healthy CJ Baxter.

It's great being a Texas fan right now! 🤘

I have Bolden for catches, Bond for yards, and Golden for touchdowns.

Bold Prediction: Gunnar Helm five TD catches.

Isaiah Bond for me too ... should thrive in Sark's offense. Legit scary speed ... confidence grew as season went on in 2023

He was a Lambo on that touchdown Saturday
