I spent 30 days at a Longhorn ranch a couple of years ago.  It was there that I realized what "horns down" really means.

If one of those bad boys suddenly bends his head down and shakes the horns, it's time to give him some space.

Trust me people, a Longhorn staring at you with his horns up is way safer than one with his horns down.  He's warning you.

So keep throwing those "horns down" signs.  People in the know are laughing at you!
