Ewers

Recommended Posts

I think Sark who is paid $10 million a year, sees all the quarterbacks every day, and has 24 years coaching experience is probably the best one to decide which quarterback gives the team the best chance to win.

I also think Quinn played pretty well today. Not perfect but certainly better than Georgia game.

I just don't see Ewers fixing all of the problems he has right now. He's failing at fundamentals. His head isn't right and that shows in his game. His feet are awful. He can't function in a dirty pocket and when it's clean he's seeing ghosts. I think Manning will be forced to take over after a dismal first quarter. (At lest I hope Sark doesn't leave Quinn in longer than that if he's a mess.) Either way, anxious to see how they bounce back from a sound defeat.

Shut up Nancy

I see it the same way Nancy.  It goes even further with me.

A lot of coaches, like Mike Leach and Art Briles, run spread offenses that like to spread you out horizontally.  Wide splits by the O-Lineman and receivers lined up almost at the sidelines.  Sark's offense is predicated on spreading you out vertically.

Both approaches try to create a light box.

If Quinn can't push the ball downfield, it kindof defeats the purpose of Sark's desired approach.  Dinking and dunking from a lineup of tightly aligned O-Lineman is not going to create a light box.  The running lanes are going to get jammed up.

So who pushes the ball downfield better, Quinn or Arch?

I think the answer is obvious.

How can you not watch Garrett Nussmeier, Cam Ward, and Shedeur Sanders and not see the difference?

What does making a post about it change. He’s our quarterback regardless of what anyone on a board posts. I’m riding with Quinn, he’s the quarterback. Typing your opinions on a board won’t change how sark play quarterbacks. Quinn is fine

Nussmeier is seeing ghosts right now if you aren’t watching and Ward and Sanders haven’t played a legit defense.

He’s the quarterback of a 6 and 2 team.

Quinn is a 7 and 1 team. Seems like you should be a fan of another team besides Texas

I’m a Texas fan but I’m a realist too.  I don’t see all this side to side passing with all these other QBs or lack of deep shots like I see with this offense.  Sorry.

Nussmeier is 50% passing with 3 INTs. Nice! Not!

All I see is wins and losses. Really dumb to analyze further than that. You want nussmeier. Move to Louisiana. Support your team

QE has lose his ceiling and doesn’t look like he’ll recover it. Sark is being overly loyal or he knows the current QE level is still higher the AM. Hard to believe that.

Current QE is not better than what we saw of Manning. QE’s ceiling is potentially higher but MI QE feels like an anomaly. We won’t dink and dunk into the playoffs. Not happening.

I love them because they create tough conversations that sometimes people don’t want to have and those conversations make for better content imo.

Every one of them turns into Quinn vs Arch and we have way bigger issues than that.

Quinn played well Saturday.

I have little faith in our ability to push the ball downfield with Quinn running the offense.  That's incredible when you consider the team has elite  speed in the receiver room.

Everyone seems to conveniently forget about Arch’s drives again Georgia.

The right side of the offensive line cannot pass block to save their lives
