Two recruiting notes

Texas 5-star safety commitment Jonah Williams (Galveston, Texas/Ball) was injured in his last game. According to a family source, the 6-3, 205-pound safety prospect suffered a minor fracture to his clavicle. Initially, it was feared he had a collarbone injury. Obviously, that will impact the remainder of the Ball High season.

OnTexasFootball spoke with 4-star++ DL commit Myron Charles (Port Charlotte, Fla./High) an hour ago. Charles informed OTF that he did not attend the FSU at Miami game Saturday.

Best of luck to Jonah tough loss for Ball High and good news on Charles

Bummer for Jonah.

It's a physical game.  Injuries happen.  Good luck to the young man.

And to add insult to injury, this likely affects his baseball playing as well.

He's a young athlete and elite athletes like that have a nasty habit of healing better than your average bear.

Collarbone injuries typically around 6 weeks. Out for football season but shouldn’t affect baseball

It doesn't affect his AVAILABILITY...but certainly interrupts his workouts and preparation.  Of course, he's an elite athlete so he'll be good in the long run!
