Shots fired - A&M

Recommended Posts

We'll see what the Aggies do when the other team prepares for the QB. Both of the "big" wins for the Aggies have come by surprising the opponent with a QB switch. Neither Reed nor Weigman are good when the defense game plans against them. It's very unlikely Reed runs wild against Texas.

Not counting pre-integration stats, Texas has: 34 more wins, 8 more 10 win seasons, 22 more All-Americans, 19 more weeks ranked #1, 8 more top 5 finishes, 7 more top 10 finishes, 5 more conference titles, 5 more bowl wins, 3 more BCS/NY6 wins, 2 more national titles, 5 more heisman winners/runners up

than Texas A&M

Bit of comedy to start your Thursday TexAgs believe Texas is the 2nd most difficult game remaining on the Ags schedule. The most difficult is South Carolina and their “elite” defense. But are also predicting a loss to either USC or Auburn. Last time I checked, Texas is better at every position and has a better record than either of those 2 teams. The “logic” here is that Texas lost to Georgia and played a close game against Vandy. Ooooookkkkkkkaaaayyyyyy, if we use that then ATM machines lost to an average ND team who then lost to Northern Illinois and managed to beat Arkansas and Bowling Green by a total of 9 points. Plus beating a MSU team by 10 and giving up 11 more points to them and scoring fewer points than Texas who was playing their back up QB. But sure they’re 7-1 and Texas has a weak schedule…but that Aggie schedule is ROUGH especially that powerhouse Mizzou who has proven to be a complete paper Tiger and an LSU team that has been inconsistent and lucky more than good most of the season. Should be fun in Aggieland. Hopefully we give them the best game all season.

The odd thing is that when it comes to non-football things they are actually really good - veterinarian (they take care of Bevo), engineering, and even business.  But they lose all common sense and logic when it comes to football.

Being the best veterinarian program in state is quite an accomplishment when you were the only program in Texas for a century.  Engineering and Business? They know their place.

Texas has a better engineering and business school. I’ll give them the vet stuff

A&M is great at veterinary. Texas has a better engineering school over all but A&M has a great petroleum engineering department. I know alot of aggies in O&G that are pretty sharp when it comes to non-sports. Im sure UT is great at that as well.  I can only assume A&M's the civil engineering department is trash given the roads in college station.
