Hi @Gerry Hamilton,

You’ve said a number of times the Texas staff will continue to evaluate a number of 2025 guys between now and June. What exactly are they evaluating?

Are they taking a closer look at 2024 game tape, are the prospects attending camps in the spring, or is it the personnel visits and conversations they are evaluating? Or something else?

Lacey needs to spend his time building this class up and being a leader like Arch did as soon as he committed.

He can’t do that since he still focused on visits and being recruited. When arch committed he was done with the recruiting process.

I’m not sure about Lacey, he seem to be more enthusiastic about his continued recruiting tour than the commitment he made to Texas. I think he may disappear as soon as someone else pays more attention to him. Maybe/hopefully I’m wrong.

Arch also committed a year later than Lacey. The fact he didn't visit Ole Miss, like Bobby said, should carry some weight imo. JuJu Lewis is still taking visits too.

His brother is a 6-0 standout DT at Lamar University that will likely be recruited to the portal after the 2024 season.

Christian is already a little taller. If he can to 6-1.5 it’s a recruitment changer

Why would anyone want to leave Beaumont?

Spring ball, track, basketball - anything where he competes.

Big fan of Sanders' game in the secondary.

My question is why he is unrated by the services? He is obviously a three star at the least.

TEXAS HIGH @ ARKANSAS 7A STATE CHAMPION FAYETTEVILLE GAME 4

No doubt! Texas High has a 2027 OT that is going to be a national recruit. The 2026 class has multiple guys

For sure. He' s a4-star athlete, that could well end up a 4-star prospect by next year.

It is still wild to be that high school teams in the state have had better indoor practice facilities than us for the past 10 or so years. Thankfully we're finally upgrading.

It's all of the above. The game tape won't change, obviously. But they will get a continued look at guys in spring practice. The football part, body development, conversations with high school stats, etc... it's just the continued overall evaluation of prospects

It’s crazy. This is where I went to high school, and they’ve had this indoor for as long as I can remember. They even have an indoor tennis facility right next to it
