With OSU and Miami losing today are we confident Texas is in CFP solidly now regardless of what happens in CS tonight?

On the stream, the guys said yes, but we’re still playing for home field. No one wants to fall to the 10-12 range

This might be the dumbest thing I’ve ever read. How great is it not to be in the big 12?

TCU won, so Dee-AWN needs ISU  and BYU to both gack it.

Assume Army beats Tulane in the AAC title game and then beats Navy.  Assume Clemson beats SMU in the ACC championship game.

Army or Clemson as the 5th auto bid?  Neither won the non-con games that mattered, but it's not like SMU didn't lose to BYU, so who could Clemson claim as a big time win?

Clemson beat no one with a winning record in the ACC this year.  Their conference wins were against teams that finished a combined 14-38 in conference with the Va Tech-UVa game still to be finished.

Ashton Jeanty record watch ...

All-time single season rushing yards leaders in CFB:

Barry Sanders 2,628 (1988)
Melvin Gordon 2,587 (2014)
Kevin Smith 2,567 (2007)
Marcus Allen 2,342 (1981)
Rashaad Penny 2,248 (2017)
Derrick Henry 2,219 (2015)
Jonathan Taylor 2,194 (2018)
Troy Davis 2,185 (1996)
Andre Williams 2,177 (2013)
Ashton Jeanty 2,168 (2024)

Now do it by yards per game played so we can more accurately judge who was who.
