Moderators Gerry Hamilton Posted November 30 Moderators Share Posted November 30 One of my favorite things in the business is a small town defensive lineman that will be a DI player on some level just living in rag doll mode on Friday nights. Brysen Maxwell-Steele (6-0, 300) of Marlin has 200 tackles and 74 tackles for loss in the last two seasons, and Marlin is still in the playoffs so those numbers will climb... He looks like he's calf roping in half of this video lol http://www.hudl.com/v/2QmbqE

Hookem72
My 3A high school team in the early 90s (Anahuac) had three kids who ran 4.4 to 4.6 in the backfield. Our QB Mikail Ricks went on to play for San Diego and the Cowboys. We routinely had 600 yard combined rushing games. We knew we were going to state until Fairfield and Tony Brackens in the semi finals. Our center weighed maybe 170 pounds. Each play Brackens would smack him to the ground and reach over and grab Ricks or the RB before they could handle the ball or hand it off. Had multiple linemen in tears. That was the first time I saw a for real NFL ready player playing against kids. Was a sad ride home from Huntsville.

Ricks was really good at SFA too
