Is it me or the portal as a whole been kinda meh this year?

Seems like lots of mid players entering. I truly wonder if the Spring will be more interesting especially with tampering

Not much coaching turnover in p4 as years past IMO.

Carson Beck to enter the portal (not sure if he withdrew from the draft)

Even more reason for Ewers to go pro THIS year. Much different class than next year.

SEC transfers can’t transfer to another SEC school in spring window is something to remember.

Sam Leavitt may end up at UGA

From the local Phoenix newspaper & from Sam himself

The final piece: Arizona State QB announces his return for the 2025 season

"It’s officially official.

After dropping breadcrumbs over the past few weeks, Arizona State redshirt freshman quarterback Sam Leavitt announced that he is returning to the school for the 2025 season after agreeing to an NIL deal with Sun Angel Collective. Leavitt posted the announcement to his X, formerly Twitter, profile."

True, but he isn’t playing next year because of Tommy John surgery

This would be a huge get. He’s visiting with OSU… but Texas is in play? We have a good edge room, but him and Simmons could be the best Edge duo in the country. Any word on your end @Gerry Hamilton@CJ Vogel@Bobby Burton

This would be a good pick up for Texas. I think if you could land him (assuming Moore moves on), having Simmons and Wilson paired together, with guys like Burke, Vasek and Umeozulu backing them up and rotating in would be amazing.

Nakos reporting USC OL Emmanuel Pregnon is expected to visit Texas.

That would be massive. I don’t love our interior OL options next year. Pregnon would be a huge upgrade.

Is Campbell going pro?

Could mean Neto is thinking of Transferring

I doubt Campbell goes pro. He’s too inconsistent and surely won’t get a strong draft grade. I’m more worried about Hutson starting than anything. Hutson hasn’t gotten any better since his freshman season.
