Georgia kryptonite

Georgia is obviously at this point our kryptonite and we need to pray like heck that we don’t see them in the playoffs imo.

If Quinn continues to play like he has we are 1 and done.

So lame but not surprising from you.

our special team are a complete joke

141 rushing yards to 31.

6 sacks after 7 the last time.

sarks play calling and adjustments are not good.

So you think in the past 4 games Quinn has done enough to win a playoff game if it came down to him doing it?

This thread is ridiculous for positing the notion that we can't beat a particular someone so we must needs avoid having to play them again, and if we do, then we will roll.

We're supposed to keep an idea that it is just one team that can beat us, and we can steamroll everyone else?  Never mind the fact the team the clubbed us once at our place and beat us again with their starting qb out was beaten by two other teams?  Once by a significant margin?  But somehow we are supposed to believe we could lose to one team only, and if we avoid that team, then we are golden?  Never mind how we managed only a 3 point win over 6-6 Vandy.  Never mind how we were in a one score game in the second half against 6-6 Arky.  Never mind how we tried to piss the game away against A&M in the second half.

Spock was right.  Logic is a little tweeting bird chirping in a meadow.  Logic is a wreath of pretty flowers which smell bad.

At least it is around here.

We played two games against playoff caliber teams.  We lost both.  The idea that we can waltz through the rest without worry is stupid.  We have a really, really good team, but let's not pretend we are a sure thing against all teams but one.  We're not.

We don't need to worry about our seed and who we draw in our bracket.  We need to simply play better.

What's going on with Bond? He's just not giving much effort. Even with a tweaked ankle, you can't simply give up on plays. Sark replaced him with Wingo for quite a long stretch. I think you send a message to him and the team by starting Wingo.

I'll also say I don't buy this bad match-up talk. It's true that our run game blocking scheme doesn't match-up well with Georgia's interior defense, but it's Georgia's speed at linebacker and the edge that shuts down our run game and screen game; but Quinn threw the ball down field quite well and stepped up in the pocket just like we asked him to do. Even the lack of touchdowns didn't doom us. Bert Auburn doomed us. They didn't out physical us like they did last game. We hit harder, and we protected well enough in pass pro. Penalties (and I think there were some shenanigans) and missed field goals killed us.

Hard to beat a team while you're busy beating yourself. We played behind the chains way too much. Our defense must be livid about having to carry the offense so much.

That’s because the interior of Texas OL couldn’t win its one on one battles

I try to imagine grown men sitting down as the warmth flows down their leg to type out this crap.  Manscape? Y’all should advertise nair for smooth skin…

Within the same season we closed the gap and lost a game that was heavy with bs calls and self inflicting wounds in front of a home crowd on a neutral field.

If anyone is worried it’s Kirby as he knows his margin for victory is already extremely small in year 1. He needs top 10 nfl picks to keep us from blowing them out. Bring them on a 3rd time. My Spurs had to get past the Lakers and it was brutal at first. All the more beautiful when the tide turned. Shut down the forum…

If some things go our way, you're looking at a blow out against Georgia. That first half should've had us with 21 points instead of 6. That would force Georgia to throw the ball more, which they aren't that great at, especially with Stockon. Outside of the big run by Etienne, they didn't really do much. Our D stood tall for the whole game. Under 300 yards and 16 points in regular time, most coaches would take that in a heartbeat and assume you win, lol.

Not to mention all the calls and fumbles that bounced their way, literally. I've never seen a fumble bounce from about the middle of the field all the way out of bounds, lol. That was wild. Indicative of it not being our night, unfortunately.

Wouldn't be afraid of Georgia, they haven't whipped us either time we played. We literally handed them the game in the first game with poor offensive and special teams play. Our O found it's pulse in the 2nd game, but were allergic to the end zone.
