Former Texas player Zac Swanson motivated to play the Horns 👀

I think that he has a reason to be motivated to prove the coaching staff wrong, but he didn't articulate that well at all.

He was told that he was not good enough to play at Texas and encouraged to seek opportunities elsewhere. He did that and is now playing football and is happy. If the coaching staff didn't care about him as a person they would have strung him along for four years as a scout team guy and then his dream would have really been over.

I agree and as a fan — I will never know what was said behind the scenes beyond what’s reported — but good for him for rebounding!

Wish the man success and sounds like he’s loving it at ASU 🤠.

However, if Texas plays them next week, I hope the O Line erases him on the field. 🤘🏼 ((personally don’t know how much he plays))

meh, any Clemson players yapping?

Not that I seen — but it’s going to be an exciting game!

My grandpa (who’s up in heaven now) was a die-hard Clemson fan. I’m excited to see the two duke it out.

Hoping we get a iconic Dabo quote about Texas, lol.

I just went off of solo. It wasn’t to be mean to him it was to show people that he’s currently getting playing time at Arizona state.

i was being sarcastic lol.  I was also making fun of his stats by comparing it to a seldom used true freshman

ASU’s Zac Swanson hoping to play the Horns — should be fun if Texas gets past Clemson this week 😁

The gym I go to is 1.5 miles from the Tempe city line (Tempe is the home of ASU) and a lot of peeps at the gym wear Sun Devil jerseys. If we win and face them I'm gonna wear my TEXAS sleeveless shirts to the gym every day that week, no matter how many dirty looks I get 🙂 I know there are a couple of other UT guys at the gym, including the president of the Phoenix Texas Exes Club, but we will be outnumbered 50-1.

Can't wait to hear videos similar to Zac's from Xavion Alford, Jake Smith (a guy I thought would star at Texas), Troy Omeire, J'Mond Tapp, Prince Dorbah and maybe even Bryan Carrington (who I liked when he was at Texas). Did I miss anyone else?  The Sun Devils had a great season but it's about to get real fellas.

That would require them keeping him on scholarship, and they were trying to free that up.
