Podcast Ads

It wasn’t the ads for that I didn’t like it was what they were advertising that bugged me. Something I would hear in a porn site. Stop it, I do not visit porn sites 😄 I’m 73 year old man for crying out loud.

Spotify seems better on my end today fwiw @Bobby Burton! Still a couple of the automatic ads but much fewer than the past few weeks.  Thanks for looking into it!

You didn’t offer an opinion. You tried to tell folks how they should react to their experience. I’d call it pretentious but I don’t think you possess the intellectual depth for it to be that. Sure, I get that. My set up allows me play the video audio via YouYube Music with the video, when both apps are on your phone. It operates much the same a Spotify on Android.

They have their set up that's working, but I'm putting it out there that I would gladly pay for an ad-free Patreon sub to OTF.

Note: we do not control YouTube, but we have some control over podcast. 

Just don’t let the message board site devolve into the On3 monstrosity with constant page reloads and pop up ads. It’s unusable on a cell phone these days.

The only ads we have on the site are internal ads from our OTF sponsors, so we’re safe there!

I watch and listen to OTF on YouTube. This morning on Coffee and Football I counted 7 ads interrupting the show's tempo. The 7 ad breaks were in addition to the OTF sponsors which are not intrusive at all and as many have said some are humorous. The numerous Internet ad breaks are a new occurrence... I used to enjoy OTF uninterrupted with only the ads specific to Bobby's Longhorns empire.

When I retired I did something many folks have to do... that is look for ways to cut my budget and expenses.

I could upgrade to the YouTube premium but I don't want to be bullied or intimidated into upgrading and going back on my budget cutting.

Just fyi...my experience.

This. It's worth it for the sanity of not seeing another ad for how I can get ripped in 3 days by consuming beef liver and jumping rope while wearing an infrared mask.
