Bad call but I am fine with what he said. He didn’t expect the sack fumble. They had two timeouts and thought he could get the ball back. The score to end the half was a back breaker. Why blitz?

Cmon man that’s a terrible answer.  In fact, him factoring in maybe getting the ball back makes the toss play call even worse.  Would you rather Ohio st take over on their own 1 or at their own 10?

The entire world could’ve predicted that play call would end horribly before it happened.  Not hindsight.

I disagree. While the play turned put to be a disaster it is useless to nitpick one single play. If you're going to do that then go and use Bond’s drop or Helms losing the ball on the way down. Without Sark we are not in the playoff this year or last year.

Without Sark & Quinn we’re 7-5 in Year One of the SEC.

The call was bad. At the time I was wondering what in the world made him do that? He cleared that up for me. If you make that call then go with Blue. The call makes no sense because when you are stacked in like that speed stands out.

Or Helms' 15 yard taunting penalty on that drive. Or Cam completely whiffing the block on Sawyer on 4th down.

I’d have rather seen Goosby personally (now that it’s over). 2 penalties on 56 and got blown by on the strip sack six.

My main issue is him blaming the players.  “If we blocked it right it’s a TD”.  Such a lame answer.  And not even true.  We were outnumbered on the edge.  Even if every block was perfectly executed, Downs would’ve been untouched.

Bad play call plain and simple. I’m ok with a toss sweep if it’s a misdirection play or even to the wide side with Blue. That play was doomed from the start

If you watch that play, the blocking was poor so Sark was right. He's one to hold players accountable for executing the play which I suspect he learned from Saban. We weren't likely to punch it in on a power play so that doesn't leave many options.

Can some of yall portal?

We lost. Two pretty evenly matched teams and it came down to one play like last time. Didn’t work out and I’m sure Sark and the players would like some calls back.

Enough with the over the top b!tchin about the same things. This ain’t texags though some of you are committed to devolving it there.

Damn fine season and we only underachieved because we overestimated our line and qb play. Sark will figure it out even if it’s him and get it right.

Some of you forgot the desert we’ve been in for over a decade…

Love the track we’re on to be perennial contenders.

🤘🏽

Yea it’s tough to know how hurt Cam was playing. Unfortunately this season we had major injuries at almost every position on the offensive side of the ball.

Blocking was poor because 5 players had to execute a near impossible block perfectly.  They were out leveraged and outnumbered to the left side.  Worst play call maybe in college football history (when factoring in the moment) and Sark doubles down.

Nothing wrong with holding players accountable as long as he holds himself to the same standards.

No hardware of any kind makes the season as disappointment considering the roster. A QB, special teams and OL regressed to the point where you won nothing. Just sucks.

We beat OU, atm, and Arkansas. Not to mention Michigan, Florida, Clemson, etc. It was a very fun year.

I mean there are numerous times when toss plays on the goal line work. Just not when your inside running threat isn’t there. Tried to catch them off guard, didn’t work. Bad call because it didn’t work. Didn’t end our season though.

Going way way back, I was at the OU game in 1984.

Texas had the ball at the Sooners 2 yard line with seconds left on the clock and tried dives into the line for no gain.

BTW the game was played in a Thunderstorm.  The Longhorns ran a pitch out wide right.

Texas RB (Kevin? From Houston) took the pitch and sprinted to the right corner. High risk, high reward.

Oklahoma DBs met him a foot outside of the pylon and all three players disappeared out of bounds in a huge splash of water on the old  artificial turf at the Cotton Bowl stadium.

Game ended with score tied.

The last time game I ever sat through a tie game.

And the wettest I ever got watching a Texas game. And the pitch out didn't work that game either.

Hook 'Em!
