Bevo92 Posted yesterday at 04:31 AM Share Posted yesterday at 04:31 AM (edited) @Bobby Burton…..Noticed ‘About Us’ page references OTF having 60k subscribers…. Assumed it was referencing subscriber count on YouTube…Hard to believe that number is already outdated by 11k as you hit 71k subscribers this week. Congrats on the awesome momentum. With the avalanche of growing members / followers / subscribers each week , you need to start updating your ‘about us’ page every few weeks with the new climbing subscriber count. Just a thought. 🙂 There is no debate at this point that@Bobby Burton @Gerry Hamilton @CJ Vogel @Blake Munroe@Jeff Howe @Rod Babers and @Bob Shipley are the gold standard of daily / weekly football news, whether it’s insights into recruiting and the portal, practice or offseason player updates, coaching and game perspective, guest interviews or anything else revolving around our Texas Longhorns. The fact that Bobby has assembled all these amazing men under one OTF is CRAZY. There is literally no reason at all to pop to other sites other than to see how On3, Rivals or 247 each rank recruits (and recruiting classes). Would love to see OTF eventually have a player / team rankings section with industry composite scores the way ON3 does it where they list each of the other sites recruiting ranking for each player. That would eliminate any need to have any other memberships. Just sayin…, I’m not retired yet (I’m also class of 92, same as Bobby) but I feel like I’m retired during weeks when I’m listening to 3-4hrs daily of OTF, lol. Glad I can multi-task… 🤘🏼🐂🧡 Back to the OTF Subscriber count and a suggestion for Bobby and Gerry. What’s the Over/Under on total OTF subscribers by the Ohio State rematch in 7 months? Thinking @Bobby Burton and @Gerry Hamilton should discuss making this a CoffeeandFootball discussion topic with @Blake Munroe…. Consider having an OTF members competition to guess what the subscriber count will be by kickoff against the Buckeyes next fall…. Winner gets 6 tickets to the A&M home game. Have it as a sponsored campaign for 7 months by Duck Camp or BKCW or John Donovan or whomever is willing to sponsor it pay for the 6 game tickets plus a fun game day experience. My initial thought when you add ArchMania plus a Top2 preseason ranking plus year 2 in SEC plus the rockstar lineup on OTF, I’m guessing something in the 135,000 range of OTF subscribers by 2p on Aug 30th!!! Just an idea. Guess it’s the Marketing Major in me. Love all you guys and your genuine authentic passion for the Texas Longhorns. Can’t wait to see what else you have in store for 2025 at OTF. Jeff Howe joining was an awesome addition for January. Btw, really enjoy the new Friday ‘end of week posts’ from both CJ and Jeff. Keep em coming fellas!! Much love and respect for OTF!!! 🧡🤘🏼🐂 Edited yesterday at 04:37 AM by Bevo92
Bobby Burton
Thank you for the kind words. I like the idea of a contest! We’re actually going to have a contest for tickets to Wednesday’s basketball game against Arkansas, just on a smaller level.

I'm fascinated with the thought of everyone in a sold-out SRO DKR being an OTF subscriber. I agree with you on Bobby assembling an All Star team. I think another reason for the success of OTF is the overall good manners and love of Longhorns athletics. OTF has a nice comfortable vibe. Hook 'Em! Hashtag
@Bobby Burton it will be nice having this hanging behind you and be the only Texas content creator with one. Also at 100k you're able to get your account verified which also pushes views and your content. Also pretty crazy yall are about to pass the official Texas Longhorns YT subscriber counts: Edited 19 hours ago by Hashtag
HookedOnTF
As someone who would love to enjoy 3 hours per day but can't, my ask/wish is to follow Joel Klatts lead - record the long version of a show, then publish the top few snackable 3-5 minute segments. No idea if that works with youtubenomics?!

What a lot of the large content creators do these days, especially now you guys will be zeroing in on 100k is have a separate channel for those kind of clips which could be called "OTF Clips" and it's just a few of the key segments or small portion of the show(preferably 10-15 minutes long for monetization purposes) that gets posted there. That "OTF Clips" channel is nothing but an advertisement to send people to your main channel. Also posting a lot more shorts of funny moments or good shorts style moments is key as well from both channels. You're essentially flooding the market with your videos from both channels and everything is directing back to your main channel. So it guarantees anytime people search Texas sports it will feature more of your videos than competitors. This would definitely have to be talked about with your editor and if @Bobby Burton decides to go that route.
