This may be the dumbest thing a “competitor” has ever proposed.

Especially in football. Can you imagine an SEC team making the playoffs because they were awarded a W through forfeiture after actually losing the game on the field?!

The SEC was supposed to be the big tough kid on the block of college athletics, but between this and the pearl clutching reaction during the schloss hire , its still the best conference in most sports but man are some of them huge whiners

Haha couldn’t agree more! Oookkkk Greg, it’s all fine and dandy until your redneck crowd does it and you lose immediately to Auburn. Better solution, let just round the stormers up, put them in the drunk tank, and make them go back and run stadiums after they’ve cleaned up the entire place. That’ll either stop them or at least get the student and fan base in better shape…

There is no way to stop it. That cat is out of the bag. Forfeits would be an absolute ruination of college sports.

“Congratulations to Alabama on winning the 2028 National Championship!! Wait…I am just hearing that as a result of their fans storming the field, Oregon is now winner of the 2028 National Championship.”

Get a grip, dude.
