Texas has a 1 seed locked. Just get through the game without any injuries

Good team well coached team.  Just not quite championship level due to lack of shooters.  Tough to beat the best teams playing this style of offense.  That's why winning the Aaliyah Chavez recruitment is crucial

If Holle or Jordan Lee aren’t hitting shots, Texas has no long range threats.  The opponents then just clog up the lane and womp womp.

Really need some deep threats next year with Holle graduating.

Booker also needs to be more aggressive with the long range shot. She's a good shooter but they seem to be coached to look inside and only shoot 3s when completely wide open or up against the clock.

The girls played tired but fought hard. Played the late game last night then had to play at SC in front of their amazing crowd. We had an off night shooting. We will bounce back.

Staley owns Vic be honest. He is 3-16 against her.0-5 in SEC Tournament ,0-1 in Elite 8, 0-1 in National Championship. He is a great coach and person, but Staley is just better.  Maybe one more chance to get a rematch this year. Need Chavez and her points  badly, if Vic let's her be her! Will see on that if and when she comes to the 40.

Looks like Staley made adjustments from the game in Austin.  Advantage right now swings back to Vic as if they meet again in the tournament Vic will be the one unveiling something new.  Though the two wins for Staley has been blowouts and Vic squeaked out a victory at home.

The stars for Texas need to show up and be stars.  SC's stars showed out.
