MarkInAustin Posted March 5 Posted March 5 Easily Kent's best game - first time I have seen him play well. I have not seen every game so perhaps he has had another game where he was in position, and quick to the ball and quick to the rim. This level of play from him means reliance on Onyema can be limited. Trey's maturation as a passer is obvious. Kaluma and Mark playing through injuries. They are not giving up in this game as they did against Georgia. I thought that game marked the end of the season because of the disintegration of any semblance of defense. I would like to see another good half. 1 Quote
NothinButDaHorns34 Posted March 5 Posted March 5 The lack of participation in this thread tells you EVERYTHING you need to know about the lack of support and need for a new head coach. Quote
NothinButDaHorns34 Posted March 5 Posted March 5 Tre so special, Man. I don’t wanna see this season end for his sake but i do to see RT get canned. Quote
Realist Horn Posted March 5 Posted March 5 I’m streaming a mid-week baseball game on ESPN+ instead of watching basketball tonight. Quote
NothinButDaHorns34 Posted March 5 Posted March 5 IF we win this game the marks we got against Kentucky showing up tonight is what helped A LOT because this team is usually Tre and a bunch of JAGS. Quote
Moderators Jeff Howe Posted March 5 Author Moderators Posted March 5 Unfortunate right there. Missed the foul call it goes down as a turnover charger to Johnson. 1 Quote
Realist Horn Posted March 5 Posted March 5 This is a joke, right? I flip over from baseball to watch Texas finish the game and they cannot finish. Quote
Moderators Jeff Howe Posted March 5 Author Moderators Posted March 5 Mark took a bad shot and had no intention of giving up the ball. Quote
NothinButDaHorns34 Posted March 5 Posted March 5 (edited) Fully expect them to find a way to lose this one as usual how the last 10 minutes had went. Edited March 5 by NothinButDaHorns34 Quote
Moderators Jeff Howe Posted March 5 Author Moderators Posted March 5 That doesn’t erase Pope’s bad pass, but it’s a start. Quote
Moderators Jeff Howe Posted March 5 Author Moderators Posted March 5 Tre has been so fun to watch. Quote
MarkInAustin Posted March 5 Posted March 5 Back in 1964 I watched a team use the 2-2-1 zone press to win every game in March Madness. Quote
NothinButDaHorns34 Posted March 5 Posted March 5 So i learned something new about RT’s inabilities in this game. He can’t seem to coach his team out of full court press defenses. Quote
Moderators Jeff Howe Posted March 5 Author Moderators Posted March 5 Probably the best play Kadin Shedrick has made all season. 1 Quote
HornsUp Tom Posted March 5 Posted March 5 Can’t even break a press here out of a time out. I’m lost 1 Quote
