Kenny Baker and his DL room took out the new faces and early enrollees to a dinner Wednesday evening.

Of course, this is the first real look at the bodies in the room given the turnover from 2024 to 2025 where three transfers and three early enrollees join a room that consists of just Alex January and Melvin Hills as returning Longhorns.

Texas likely isn’t done with additions to the room, but this is a good look at what it looks like currently.

And who is that dude on the right, Fafo?  Can't find him on the roster anywhere ...

They’re both assistants for Baker.

I was worried about the DL early in January for 2025 but man this DL is going to be stacked. Sark can develop players at a high rate

We had a top 2/3 defense with Collins, Broughton, Lole, Norton rotation.

This rotation has a chance to be better. Brevard and Shaw are NFL draft picks. Shaw can take a Collins type jump. I think Kanu (who Ohio State fans said is going to be a monster) is an underrated addition. January is gonna be good too. Terry and the freshman need reps too.

I know some folks think we need to add another difference maker (if the money is right then 100%), but if we can use that money at WR then I think we are set

Add one more portal interior DL in the spring and this group will be ready to wreak havoc on opposing OLs and QBs all season long.

Not sure you need it especially if Shaw shows legit upside

Lol, would not want to be the one paying that.

Are those to go bags in the foreground? It’s bad enough they eat everything in sight, but then to take the rest of the restaurant home?! No wonder ticket prices are going up.

Just curious if any of those LSU dt signees upset with Bo’s departure are talking to Texas (indirectly, of course).

SEC rule they can't transfer in spring to an in conference team and play in fall, so probably not.
