Moderators Gerry Hamilton Posted 11 hours ago Moderators Posted 11 hours ago OnTexasFootball is expecting a top target of the Longhorns to likely commit to USC soon. With that said, Texas will not back off and just keep hanging around the rim. USC is making a huge NIL push to get some top 2026's in the boat early and try to hang on long term. Just like they did in the 2025 class ... which was a struggle with EDGE Isaiah Gibson ending up at Georgia, and DL Justus Terry ending up at Texas. 18 2 Quote
Joe Zura Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago It’s got to be Mark Bowman but like you said how many stuck last year with burnt brisket Riley 4 Quote
pinkman_90 Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago USC is probably best case scenario if one of our targets is committing somewhere else. Fraud coach 1 Quote

Same thing applies to Kodi Greene. If it's Mark Bowman, that would sting a lot more. Either way, there's still seven months to go before it actually matters. Quote
Glass Joe Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago I’d assume it’s a DL. USC is pushing “Coach Henny” (LOL), and USC focused on DL with their early stage NIL giveaway last cycle too. Plus, the state of California grows far fewer elite DL prospects than the SEC footprint, so they’ve got to make outsized NIL promises to address the talent shortfall. Quote
kobe moldrem Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Jameion winfield? only OVs are USC and Texas so far if i remember right Quote

Also DL are easier to pluck away from them later Quote

But he's a bigger body type that can plug the middle of the line. Quote
FootLaw Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago (edited) Recruit through the whistle and if by "signing day" a recruit still values NIL $ over development, they are probably not a fit for Sark's system. One big thing I appreciate about Sark is he doesn't lead his recruiting strategy with NIL first. Edited 4 hours ago by FootLaw Quote
