Stanford portal EDGE David Bailey picks Texas Tech. 

Following up on what @Bobby Burton posted this AM, Tech felt a lot of confidence after their visit with the Stanford edge and end up landing him. Texas hosted Bailey on Tuesday, though Bailey was unable to meet with Steve Sarkisian as a result of his newborn.

While getting him would have been a nice pickup, not getting is not gonna break us. I think it was Gerry who said he wanted more playing tome than he would have gotten at UT. Throw in a larger UIL than we probably were willing to pay and Tech can have him. While I wish him no ill will, I doubt he will get the pro attention there playing full time as opposed to the eyes on him at UT.
