Think of the 1st Rounders Texas has coming, Lord willing the world spins that long.

Arch, Simmons, Ant Hill, Wingo…

Who else y’all got?

Goosby could be a 1st rounder if he keeps working hard. Same with Baker. I don't think DJ Campbell will be a first, but with another year in the oven (so to speak) he could massively improve his draft stock. I think Cam Williams might be regretting that decision but that's just my opinion and not based in fact.

Muhammed could be a 1st rounder if he continues to improve. But these are all what if's. The ones you listed, are almost for sure things, if it plays out the way it should.

The draft is over. Jake Majors and Isaiah Bond are the two Texas notables who weren’t drafted.

That injury for Bond really hampered him. Definitely should've come back for another year. Feel bad for the guy, because prior to the injury, he was 100% a 1st rounder.

Best news for Quinn, Miami versus the other crappy teams… gonna be great

It's definitely better than ending up in Cleveland lol. QB graveyard.

I'm not sure if it was him struggling, as him trying to come back from a pretty serious injury. We heard in the offseason how much it was hampering him. But that's also a knock on him, that his 3 years at Texas, he's been injured every year. A long with some other things he hasn't improved upon in his game.

I am of the opinion the story put out at the combine was them trying to cover up his poor play by using the injury as an excuse.

Where do y’all see Taaffe? 2nd? All he’s done is produce in Texas.

Baker/Campbell/Goosby could be good.

Endries?
Watson?

Taaffee will come down to his 40 IMO.

Taafe won’t be in the second because he’s is not elite athletically and plays a position that is not typically drafted high. Endries and Watson are likely 2 year players. If endries has a good year he’s probably going around where helm went

Taaffe is a great player, but teams won't draft him in the 2nd round. I think the best he's looking at is late 3rd/4th round, imo. I forgot about some of the portal guys, Endries at TE is pretty solid, considering Helm somehow slide down to the 4th round, I could see him ending up there possibly?

Watson I'm not sure, maybe similar or better than Broughton ended up? It's hard to predict, tbh.

I do agree about Baker, Campbell and Goosby.

His measurables will cost him. 3rd day pick. Will be a heck of a coach one day.

Guards and center are seldom 1st round picks

I know it is hindsight but I really wanted Bond back for at least one more year as a deep threat. And with the late season injury I thought surely he have had a huge incentive to return. Just a huge missed call from somebody giving him advice in my opinion.

The staff did not want him back. Bobby and the team alluded to this a few times, assuming it was attitude and off the field related.
