That's right and it's also the same reason Texas played @ Michigan last season instead of @ Texas. 1 Quote

Longhorn Wealth Posted May 14 Posted May 14 I am happy with the Noon EST kickoff, as I will be at a wedding weekend in Denver. Wedding is 4:30pm that Saturday, but with CO time, we will be watching the kickoff on TV at 10:00am, so no conflict at all with the wedding. AWESOME for us!! Hook'em!!! 1 1 Quote

Whoever schedules a wedding in the fall on football Saturday's is not your friend. At least it is a road game. If I get invited to a wedding on a gameday that is at DKR zero chance I am attending the wedding... 3 Quote
harveycmd Posted May 14 Posted May 14 (edited) Just heard a Buckeye podcaster say Ohio State should just refuse to play the game at noon. Someone asked why. Podcaster responded: "You can't beat Arch Manning at noon!" Edited May 14 by harveycmd 1 1 1 Quote

I think this goes back to this past season where majority of their games were 11am kickoffs due to being the big noon game for Fox and their fanbase was pissed off about it. 7 of their 12 games were 11 am kickoffs FWIW. That's definitely part of it. They mentioned that OSU has many noon games and they don't complain too much. But the guy got real serious when one of the commenters then said playing at noon against Texas shouldn't be a big deal. He said it means a least six points to OSU. Then he said the deal about Arch Manning. 1 Quote

She did not attend UT, not did her fiance. I know my niece is not into football, and I don't think her fiance is too much either. Again, at least we will get to watch the entire game undisturbed well before the wedding! Quote
