I love Poona Ford's story. And to hear Jason Kelce say on the record that Poona was one of the players he faced in his career who gave him the most problems is maybe the highest level of respect a defensive lineman can get in this era of football.

We named a cat after Tubbs back in the day.  He was a stout little Manx (the cat, that is).

I think Tubbs' game-winning blocked FG in Manhattan, KS in 2002 (which we watched with the NYC Texas Exes) earned the cat his name.
