Moderators Blake Munroe Posted June 4 Moderators Posted June 4 Jim Schlossnagle and staff have reeled in their first portal commitment since the season ended. On Wednesday the Longhorns hosted Wichita State INF Josh Livingston. The staff went right to work the moment he stepped on campus and secured a commitment from the incoming senior. Last season Livingston hit .284 on the season, while adding 15 HRs. Sources tell me that Livingston will play either first or third base, but could be considered for a DH role as well. 28 Quote

Robert Brooks Posted June 4 Posted June 4 Solid pickup. Stats aren’t overly impressive but good. Would’ve liked more doubles and a 1,000 OPS. Probably more of a 1B but maybe dependent on where Borba plays? Quote

Moderators Jeff Howe Posted June 5 Moderators Posted June 5 Livingston's team rankings for the Shockers in 2025 (minimum of 2 PA/G or 75 percent of the team's games played): — Third in batting average (.284) — First in OPS (.958) — First in home runs (15, the only Wichita State player with more than eight) — First in RBI (48) — First in total bases (117) — First in slugging (.555) — T-1 in walks (28) — Second in OPB (.403) 5 Quote
