The Mods always say Texas doesn't lead with NIL, and lets these guys get offers from other schools first before making their "best" offers.

Because Texas doesn't lead with NIL doesn't mean there isn't offers.

I was about to say. Pants dropped is wild lmfao. Plus the room is stacked. This is not ideal but definitely not the end of the world.

The goal is to maintain a stacked room, not just to have one.

Sark’s Alow play strategy is being put to a major test this cycle.  I sure hope Crowell or Cooper is one of the “Hi’s”….

Seriously doubt this. People panic and don't learn. Texas will be just fine as always.

Time will tell. Just saying we will be just fine doesn’t make it true.  @Gerry Hamilton himself said this is a big blow to Texas.

We will see if Aggy can hold onto these recruits after Texas beats them by 2-3 scores at DKR in November, is in contention for another natty while Texas 8&4 goes 8-4 again, and Sark gets serious with his NIL offers.

This is what our class looked like at this time last year:

KJ Lacey

Lance Jackson

Elijah Barnes

James Simon

Coleman triplets

Emaree Winston

End of list.

Not sure how you can say they are slow playing guys when they sit with 2x the commitments they had at this time a year ago.

But this year seems different in terms of the cancelling of visits and quick decisions. It's kind of interesting new development.

A development that may work in our favor with a few guys coming up.

Very true. Also considering our roster at the position it seemed like 2 RB class wasn't going to work regardless especially with the board of RBs we had in 2026 class.

And people were COMPLAINING all summer '24 about losing certain recruits 🙄 and Texas ended up with the no. 1 class in the nation. Either you trust Sark approach or not.

I figured at some point 2 RBs per year was not going to work, but I had penciled in KJ as our 1 take for this year
