Yeah possibly. Im not sure Ojo/Turntine want to compete for the LT spot together. I really hope we land Lee regardless, he's the most ready to play I believe.

I don’t think Turntine is a LT. Reminds me of Brandon Baker. I think he’d be a great RT or even IOL

I think Turntine is a no doubter left tackle. He’ll have to be beat out at that position before he would move, no matter where he signs.

And what is your experience regarding these matters as an evaluator or a coach? Everyone else and their sister say LT.

Well going off what I see. I’m not saying he can’t play LT I’m saying I think he’d be a perfect RT.

Are you saying this because of the video from the camp? If so I think that’s a major overreaction. He’s an elite Tackle

No, because Ojo technique is terrible and needs a least a couple of years to develop.

Michigan just got two five star tackles last year 😂

And Texas has a chance to get 2 of 3 between Lee, Ojo, and Turntine.  Then next cycle they could get Kennedy Brown.  They're doing it right.  Gotta keep your trenches stocked.

That's fine. We aren't in the days where we NEED a guy like Kelvin Banks to come in and start immediately. Its beneficial to let incoming freshman marinate and develop, unless they are already in a position to somewhat contribute their first season.

I mean those settings are very meh to me. They don’t really do much from an overall perspective of the player. And even if it isn’t great letting him bake 1/2 years is perfectly okay

We shall see.

What’s your take on his technique Bobby? Obviously he isn’t a finished product which is what you want. You want to be able to mold him more once on campus. How do you fee his overall work?

They are to an extent but he's looked absolutely abysmal with very little to take away from it because he's not just getting beat by a bull rush, he's getting beat by everything.

The optics aren’t great I agree. But I will use Landon Jackson as an example of taking this things a little to serious. He was made fun of for his bag drill for years and he developed into a good college player and NFL draft pick.
