Clemson cake walk coming soon.

Clemson is easily the favorite but people are putting the cart before the horse with them.

They squeaked by a couple of bad (some very bad) teams last year and I wouldn’t be surprised to see them trip up once or twice in conference.  Then they have LSU and USCe OOC

They may be early on Clemson, but Clemson has a QB who could be big-time, and that's extremely important. Not hard to set a high floor for a team with a top-level signal caller.

They had major problems on defense last year and I’m not the biggest Tom Allen fan.  Their talent should be able to make up for that because the ACC is bad.  Offense should be fun.

I would bet Clemson to beat LSU, especially with that game at home.

LSU and Nussmeier struggled heavily against teams with talented front sevens and Clemson should have one of the better fronts in the country this year. Which might be surprising to some given how easily Texas wa sable to move them around last year.

Outside of Clemson, when was the last time the ACC was any good? 1987?

It’s unfortunate that Miami and Virginia Tech were on the way down when they joined the league 20 years ago.

There was that point in ‘97 when North Carolina and Florida State were as talented as anyone in the country.

Lots of talent on that defense but also lot of bad habits and tackling.  Will be interesting to see first game with a new d coordinator against Nuss.

What was it something like 7 of their defensive starters were in their freshmen or sophomore season last year?
