Rocky P Posted Friday at 05:47 PM Posted Friday at 05:47 PM Don't remember his effort and work ethic being an issue at Texas Cowboys coaches reportedly have concerns with fifth-round pick RB Jaydon Blue’s work habits Former Cowboys coach Glenn ‘Stretch’ Smith said current coaches have expressed that Blue is “borderline lazy” and that the team is not thrilled with his work habits. In Dane Brugler’s “The Beast” draft guide, he noted Blue’s maturity being a potential issue: “NFL scouts say he may need time to learn what it takes to be a professional.” The Cowboys have high hopes for Blue ahead of his rookie season, but it sounds like he has some off-the-field matters to sort out. 1 Quote

Sundancekid Posted Friday at 06:15 PM Posted Friday at 06:15 PM (edited) Couldn’t happen to a more worthy owner or GM. I have despised the Cowboys ever since Jerry took over.Miserable kodger. Edited Friday at 06:24 PM by Sundancekid 2 1 Quote
f1revo Posted Friday at 06:18 PM Posted Friday at 06:18 PM Blue has had issues since high school. He was on the brink at Texas at one point. Now that he's out of our locker room, he has to do it on his own. 1 Quote

HenryJames Posted Friday at 06:56 PM Posted Friday at 06:56 PM Former Dallas Cowboys coach has head-scratching take on Jaydon Blue Quote Smith was with the Cowboys during the 2000 and 2001 seasons as part of Dave Campo's regime that went 10-22 over that stretch of time, the worst stretch of Cowboys football since the 1988 and 1989 seasons, in which Dallas went 4-28. He has not been with an NFL team since. 1 1 Quote

Assistant Regional Manager Posted Friday at 09:50 PM Posted Friday at 09:50 PM I hope he has success and by all accounts he is a nice kid, but something like this isn't that outrageous or super surprising if you followed him since HS. He wasn't exactly drama-free at Texas either. The guy no-showed the East-West Shrine Bowl earlier this year and didn't even provide a reason. That was not a good look. Hopefully he finds his footing in the NFL and can make an impact. Talented player when he can hold onto the ball. 1 Quote

Dread-headed Texan Posted Friday at 10:43 PM Posted Friday at 10:43 PM This article is out of pocket, my my favorite pastime is hating the Cowboys. I've been following Blue since rookie mini camp and everyone I've read, listened to, or watched spoke of how impressed they were with Blue. One bad article is an anomaly not the norm. If Dallas doesn't want him, they're free to cut him after preseason being the 5th round picks have to make the roster and I bet he'll be picked up faster than when hit turned the corner on Clemson. 2 Quote
Quinncent McManning, Jr. Posted Friday at 11:04 PM Posted Friday at 11:04 PM Wasn’t there just an article about how explosive he was and that he was going to be another Kamara just a few weeks ago? Maybe let’s not pay attention to those offseason random takes. 1 Quote
