Texas84 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago On 4th down, mom was hiding behind the couch. Couldn't watch. Quote
Dread-headed Texan Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I'll never forget this game or day. It was a looooooong 14 hour road clearing mission from Baqubah to LSA Anaconda. As soon as we reached the gates and cleared our weapons, I headed straight to the MWR tent, didn't talk to anyone, and the group of five of us watched on replay. My adrenaline was already running high from the mission, so you can't even imagine how I was feeling when I finally learned the outcome. Nothing mattered, not the artillery going out, and if we would have taken incoming on that fourth down, I was ready to risk it all. No way in hell was I going to a bunker. 2 2 Quote
HookedOnTF Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Love the reruns, but hoping the next championship release drops soon! Then, 20 years from now, it will be fun to see if we still watch 06 as the most iconic game ever - its quite possible that it will still be the case! Quote
Chioubaccalovin Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago i was on a work trip in China during the game. rented a suite at the 4 seasons in shanghai so i could watch it on the Star TV Satellite broadcast and invited a bunch of chinese friends that never watched football in their lives. Everyone was jumping up and down on the bed at the end. 1 Quote
