Kelvin Banks for me. After years and years of whiffing on top OL recruits and having a bad product on the field in that position, he was the game changer that we had to get. He helped turn the ship around at Texas with his immediate impact.

In terms of players who I’ve enjoyed watching the most, definitely have to group Bijan, Banks, Worthy, Simmons, Jahdae, Sweat and Hill in their own category as some of the all-time greats to ever grace the 40 Acres.

Xavier Worthy

i remember his freshman year in the OU game and he took the screen pass 75 yards to the endzone on the first play of the game and that’s when I knew he was HIM

I would say Bijan but I don’t know if we are counting players that were Herman recruits that played under Sark

Also Kelvin, Ant Hill, Jahdae, and Colin to round out the top 5

I’ve gotta go with a kelvin banks for sure. To trust flood and sark as a five star offensive tackle recruit everybody wanted when we hadn’t had a guy go in the first round in over 10 years when he committed to us is very commendable as a fan.

Thinking about all of these guys is incredible. We’ve truly gotten to the point where the program is pumping out memorable legends at a high rate again.

My favorite is Anthony Hill. Haven’t had a dominant LB like him on the field since Derrick Johnson. Feels like we’ve had stars at every position in that timeframe except LB. I thought Malik Jefferson was gonna be that but underwhelmed imo. There have been highly serviceable guys, but no Butkus level guys until Hill.

Anthony Hill Jr has made it look cool to play LB at Texas again. Even teamed up with Derrick Johnson to recruit Tyler Atkinson. LB is a devalued position these days, but imo no truly elite defense I’ve ever seen has been devoid of at least one star LB. Hopefully we’ve got that pipeline going now.

Thought about it a while. Honestly T’Vondre Sweat. Came a long way, had that monster season, Outland trophy, and was just so fun. Also kind of hilarious he was at the center of the Bo Davis bus rant

Roschon for the unselfishness and leadership he displayed. Helped cement Sark's culture right from the start.

Whitt for his perseverence and work ethic.

Brandon Collins for his perseverence. Finally fulfilled the early expectations of him his final year. Finished strong.

Quinn Ewers for me. Quinn is behind most of my favorite plays and moments from the Sark era. For example, Quinn shredding Bama in Tuscaloosa, his 4 TDs in 49-0, and can’t forget 4th and 13.

All the guys that were Tom Herman holdovers that bought in under Sark and didn’t jump ship after the initial 5-7 and 8-5 seasons.

So guys like Sweat, Barron, Whittington, Christian Jones etc…
