kmart Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Sorry if this is common knowledge or already discussed here, but I'm curious how eligibility for a dual sport athlete like Jonah Williams works, where he enrolled early and participated in baseball last academic year. I always assumed NCAA Eligibility followed academic years, so would he have used a year of eligibility for academic year 24-25? Also, if his hamstring keeps lingering, would a redshirt even be on the table with participation in baseball? 🤔 Quote
A-10HORN Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I think they are unrelated but unsure man. Hope so 1 Quote
harveycmd Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago AI says participating in any sport during a calendar year counts for a year of eligibility. Given the problems the NCAA has enforcing anything these days, doesn't seem like it would hold up. 1 Quote

He is football scholarship and his eligibility is tied to football. 2 Quote
