If the knock on Arch was let's seem him against a good defense then what do yall think Lagway is going to look like against Texas. Are we judging Florida on what they did to LIU at home? Lagway was really tearing up UGA either. Or if you want to bring up the LSU you game, 🤣, he was 50% against one of the worst defenses in the SEC. So far Lagway is barely a 50% passer against any defense with a pulse. Florida v Texas won't be close and I don't care if the game is played on the moon. The Swamp isn't easy to play in. Florida could be healthier. Florida is hoping to get to Texas without any injury issues from a tough stretch. If they can avoid injuries, it will be a dog fight. 1 Quote

We’re still arguing about Florida? lol I don’t see how a team Texas obliterated last year is going to suddenly become their hardest game. Give me Texas all day. At the end of the day, I believe we get the W because of our defense, but this one is a potential trap game. A healthy Florida with Lagway is a good team and the swamp isn't an easy place to play. DanielOnorato Posted September 3 Posted September 3 The biggest concerns about Florida this year is that the game is in their house, their starting freshman QB and RB from last year look like NFL talents and have another year of development at the collegiate level which should show significant growth, and lots of their WR and defensive back depth were injured last year vs Texas. Texas' Captain insane-O type beating on Florida last year might have been my favorite game of the season because it was one of the few where my expectations were far surpassed in a good way by the offense. I expect an inspired Florida team to bring their best game at home and for it to look much different leaning on the run game of Baugh with a healthy second year Lagway. They, like most Texas opponents will try to set up a shortened game running clock. Texas will win if they play like they should, but I felt the same way about the Ohio State game. Don't sleep on a healthy Gator team at home. Quote

Hookem72 Posted September 7 Posted September 7 USF played a way cleaner game than we just did. If we have less than 50 yards in penalties the next two weeks I might relax. Quote
CGG Posted September 7 Posted September 7 Florida’s loss to USF definitely changes the narrative for our game against them in a few weeks. If we don’t blow them out, it’s going to be a negative outlook from the national media. 2 Quote

harveycmd Posted September 7 Posted September 7 Been a good day so far. Georgia looked like crap. Florida lost in embarrassing fashion. Aggy D still bad. Gerry boy Leavitt being humbled by a terrible Miss ST team. Clemson is crap, meaning LSU win wasn't all it was cracked up to be. Mateer just threw a pick. 1 Quote

harveycmd Posted September 7 Posted September 7 (edited) LSU struggling with La Tech, confirming the weak Clemson win. Florida can be dangerous; however, if they lose to LSU and Miami (both on the road), they'll come into the Texas game 1-3 with everyone calling for Napier to be fired. Plus they won't make that a night game over Miami @ FSU so Texas might avoid that as well 1 Quote
