We were at the game last night but left after the 11th. Luke Harrison gave up two in his frame and did not look good. A freshman left gave up three in his frame and only recorded one out. He walked a bunch, a throwing error led to as as did some of Lamar's hits. He was bailed out by Bing who came in and got the next two batters. Thomas Burns was throwing heat in his inning. His fastball was 96-99 and was mostly at 97 and 98. Grubbs looked okay but gave up a homerun that bounced off the top of the fence as the left fielder (I think it was Monsour) was leaping. Not an impossible catch, but I think he is only about 5'11'. Texas had the bases loaded at least twice and didn't score. They struck out too much (big surprise) and did not really have timely hitting. Robbins swings a great bat and he played centerfield last night. Several transfers and freshmen pitched and most looked pretty good, at least through the 8th inning. I did not know they were going to play 12 or we might have stayed at least one more inning. But we had already been there almost 4 hours and those seats were getting hard. 1 Quote

No of course not and I know they are really just looking at guys but I didn’t expect them to score 11 runs on our pitching and us only score 4 on their pitching. Maybe Lamar is pretty good. Kinda like UTSA last year. Everybody has good players Quote
