I don’t post much here, but I read most of y’all’s thoughts and tune into the livestreams, so I just wanted to get this off my chest.

We all know Texas came into the season with heavy hype and then got punched in the mouth by Ohio State. Since then the offense has looked rough, with Arch struggling to find a rhythm while the defense keeps doing its part.

Maybe that’s exactly what this team needs. Instead of coasting on preseason praise, they’re being forced to fight for every yard and figure out who they are. Missing some veterans hurts, but it also forces the rest of the roster to grow up fast.

Sometimes it’s better to be doubted and have to earn everything. Nothing builds an edge like digging yourself out of a hole, and this group might be more dangerous because of it. The fun part is watching a talented but struggling team find itself and start playing its best ball as the season goes on.

Here’s to a great rest of the season and an enjoyable ride with a team ready to overcome and become great. Hook ’Em.

There is NO QUESTION that if the offense and Arch specifically do come out of the other side they're gonna be better for it.
We talked a lot on this discussion board about how this is one of the first times in Arch's life he's had to deal with adversity.
Sark said it too, and he was confident that when he does come out of it he's gonna be so much better for it.
