Moderators CJ Vogel Posted 22 hours ago Moderators Posted 22 hours ago Encouraging stuff here. On the rewatch, there is plenty that Brooks will need to clean up, but that of course is to be expected in a true freshman's first time seeing the field. Yet often you see him climbing with success to the second level. Brooks moving as well as he does at his size is such a weapon for the Horns. This was an awesome rep here. 22 1 Quote

I don't think i've seen anything remotely close to this from Baker. I'll beat this drum until he proves me wrong but he is a weak link right now on the Oline. I've seen numerous free rushers from his side. Maybe its a scheme thing, but i don't think Flood and Sark are scheming for free rushers. 2 Quote

Arch did it last year against MSU as well. If they bring 6 and we block with 5, one edge is coming free. 2 Quote
Bobby Burton Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago I think calling Baker the weak link is a little much IMO. But that’s just me. I found it interesting that they slid Baker to left tackle when they inserted Brooks at right tackle. 6 Quote
Thanos72 Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago It’s left to tight. G-c-g as the weak links with Campbell the worst against what he should be. Stroh seems to have a super low floor because of balance/feet while also playing too early. We’ve heard baker is a technician but currently that means bring in the right place to get overpowered. If Kibble and Brooks are clearly superior athletically and drive wise to Stroh, Campbell, or Baker, play them. 1 Quote

Deep in the heart Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I find it hard to believe that Stroh is our best option at LG. I'm also disappointed in DJ. This is supposed to be his contract year but he isn't playing like it. 1 Quote
