TTaylor2135 Posted Tuesday at 11:13 PM Posted Tuesday at 11:13 PM Anybody here going and have any tips on where to stay? Never been to Kentucky and going to try to get there Thursday to check out the Keeneland race track for a few days prior to the game. Hotels seem a bit pricy online (i know last minute) so i'm guessing we are there big draw? ha. Any recs or anything would be extremely helpful. Thanks and hook em! Quote
John F. Posted Tuesday at 11:27 PM Posted Tuesday at 11:27 PM Thanks for posting. I’m going but have never been there. Planning to stay in Louisville and drive in unless someone tells me that’s a terrible idea. Quote

Alex Butler Posted yesterday at 12:25 AM Posted yesterday at 12:25 AM Honestly, don’t mess with staying in Lexington. It’s easier and cheaper to stay in the east end in Louisville or in Cincinnati. It is a bit of a drive but it’ll be cheaper and have more to do than you would in Lex. I lived in Louisville and love it up there just not in the cards to get back up there this year. 2 Quote

General Grant Posted yesterday at 12:31 PM Posted yesterday at 12:31 PM Going to the Perryville battlefield Friday or Saturday. I’m sure we’ll hit a distillery. @Bobby Burton do you have any plans for OTF? 1 Quote

The company I used to work for headquartered in Louisville, so I've been there a lot. Neat city, kinda resembles parts of Austin in 70's. Bourbon tours are neat. I'm sure there are bad parts, like any city, but I liked it. 2 Quote

It really is a lot like Austin when I was growing up in the 90s. Bardstown road, Cherokee Park and Frankfort Ave are all great areas centrally located with lots of great food and activities!! NuLu downtown is great too! 2 Quote
LTHorn Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago We are staying at The Lodge at Mammoth Cave National Park and then driving in for the game. We’ll be exploring Great Smoky Mountains National Park between the Kentucky and Miss State games before heading back to Austin 1 Quote
