DanielOnorato Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Nick Brooks should never play guard in my opinion. He is too tall to deal with the lateral speed of interior defenders coming up out of his stance. Brooks should solely be developed at tackle. Any thoughts on Brooks at guard? Quote

He doesn't have measurements to play LT. All of these misses at LT in recuiting is showing... Plus all the miss evals on big humans... Quote

Need to start from scratch at 4 positions if Goosby returns. 5 stars are 5 stars for a reason ala Kelvin Banks. They need to spend what they need to spend on the lines and not take anything like winning for granted. Edited 2 hours ago by uthorn1374 2 Quote

But it was okay to let him go north of the Red River because he didn't wanna compete for the starting spot and you're getting Turntine in the '26 class. Would've won the job this spring. 2 1 Quote

I don’t trust us to homegrow our OL at the moment. 1 Quote

He's at LT for OU right? He would not have won that job here. Quote

On the interior I think it's tough for him against shorter guys on the interior who can get off quicker when his hands in the ground. I view Daniel Cruz, Jackson Christian, Hutson, Campbell , Robertson and Nate Kibble as their best bets as prototype guards. Goosby, Baker, Brooks as their best tackles but I could be wrong. Quote

OU offered more NIL I believe. Quote
drag worm Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Imagine the situation at guard being so bad that Flood has to plug a true freshman OT in a left guard to try and plug the hole. What guards did he think he was grooming to take over these past three years? 1 Quote

Crazy you continue to have this attitude when the product on the field is atrocious. Like dude come on, use your eyes and be objective. Or should we continue to “trust the coaches” that are 100% responsible for this mess? 1 Quote

The worst eval is having Hutson be beat out by Campbell after a year of starting as a freshmen and thinking that guy is starting center material after he’s been on campus for 4 years. Quote
