Randy Fistfighter Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Leave Sark alone... he's an offensive guru! Quote

Bring in someone with fresh ideas on how to run modern spread offenses with his personnel OL coach. His version of the west coast/BYU offense just isn't a thing anymore unless you have elite talent all over the field. Sarkisian's clock management is also abysmal, and has been since he became the coach. I can't think of a head coach that has won a championship while also serving as the primary playcaller for offense. Jimbo in 2013 and Spurrier in 1996 over the last 30 seasons that's all Quote

If Vanderbilt and aggy embarrass us at home, his seat will get incredibly hot. Quote

Starts at the top, and trickles down IMO True but if I remember right you wanted PK fired and luckily he didn't get fired. He is obviously doing awesome now. Sark and the offense is struggling for sure. Probably too late to fix it much this season but as PK fixed the defense after year 1 I am gonna see how Sark fixes the offense. And if he doesn't he likely won't make it. Should be interesting to see how it shakes out. Edited 9 hours ago by MBHORNSFAN Quote

Agree but realistically he is going to get another year. Does that year include being forced to make changes or not, is my question Quote
philip zapata Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago This offense looks constipated, o line can't block long enough for these long developing plays. Where was the run offense? 1st half was put everything on arch. Our qb was Our short yardage solution, are u serious? I'm baffled how bad this offense looks. Quote

Caldwell has this team 6-1 and that’s a two TD win tonight. No doubt in my mind. This is the most undisciplined offense I’ve ever seen especially at OL. Your D has an epic goal line stand and you start with a hold and get minus two yards total in OT? As I predicted coming out of the Spring, PK has this team Championship level ready while Sark’s side of the ball is a flaming pile of crap. Remember 6-3 at halftime of the SECCG? Sark’s side of the ball has actually gotten worse. Okay, I don't know about Caldwell doing all that but I think Sark most definitely should've given him a shot later in that game. Because it was clear Arch wasn't doing anything. 2 Quote

Yes, it matters in the medium term joy of watching this team with my sons for 2, maybe 3 extra games in that timeframe. Quote

TexasFanatic Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Thoughts- Arch - he might suck but still got time to get better. The WRs and OL aren’t helping but neither is Arch RB - IDK why they don’t use Simon or Wisner more. WR - All are jags. TE - I feel bad for Endries OL- Brooks has potential. He plays hard. Goosby is solid. The rest are jags. Needs major overall. Fire Flood Defense- Bravo. PK is our best coach. 2 Quote

You are missing my point. Forcing a coach to make changes he doesn't think he needs to make never works out. If anyone really forced Sarkisian to hire someone he doesn't think is needed, you should just fire him and start over. 2 Quote

If Arch completes the 1st pass and the last pass of the game, Texas wins. Manning still can't complete the crossing route as Wingo was wide open again and it wasn't close. Endries is wide open and Manning tries to drill a pass to him. If he puts any touch on it, Endries scores a TD. This is easy stuff and our QB is incapable of making the play. The big plays he made last week against OU were off schedule plays, he didn't make a throw from the pocket within the confines of the offense that turned into an explosive play. 2 Quote

Dcage7002 Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Sark need to hire an offensive coordinator. His play calling is terrible. Sark needs to bench Arch but he is too scared he will transfer. The run game has the same problem it had in years 1, 2, 3 & 4 with Sark calling plays. Give Matt Caldwell a chance 2 Quote
Steamboat Willie Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago We are inconsistent and have no identity. We aspire to be a big-time home run hitting offense. But that doesn’t seem possible due to inexperience and an inability to have all the offensive players firing on all cylinders at the same time. 2 Quote
