alrightalrightalright Posted 3 hours ago Author Posted 3 hours ago Consistently seeing 4 SEC teams and even 5 at times as I click through different scenarios & teams. I'm assuming the SEC is getting 5 teams in via the Predictor in this type of scenario: Alabama (SEC Champ), Ole Miss (SEC runner-up) (SECCG outcome can be flip-flopped), Georgia is 10-2, Texas A&M is 11-1, Texas is 10-2. 1 Quote
TTown Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago 10-2 should be good . Lose 1 though gets very tricky. ND will get in no matter what they do ha. Then depends on how many get in from B12 or ACC. 1 each hopefully then there is wiggle room. Gotta be at least #10 because G5 bumps us then 1 miscellaneous and we at 12. Just gotta win ! Quote

Moderators CJ Vogel Posted 3 hours ago Moderators Posted 3 hours ago Need some of those Kentucky defeats Ole Miss type of games this weekend as Texas sits on a bye. Quote

So basically Texas has to win out and either have Bama lose to OU or Mississippi lose to either Florida or Mississippi State. Those are the two most likely ways Texas makes it to Atlanta. 1 Quote

But they also said they would give more weight to SOS and clearly that’s hogwash. Quote

I do not want to take the chance that a 10-3 Texas who loses to Bama would be safe when we know a 10-2 Texas who sits out the CCG would be. Edited 51 minutes ago by 4thandFive 1 Quote

Would they get left out at 12-1 with a regular season championship while a 9-3 team goes? Quote
Tuco Ramirez Posted 43 minutes ago Posted 43 minutes ago I agree and that’s very sad for the sport. The best way to the playoffs is the easiest way to the playoffs. Quote

Say Tech loses this week and gets revenge on BYU in the CCG, I think the Big 12 gets 2, SEC 4, B1G 3, ACC 1 (I think this is almost guaranteed due to last week), Notre Dame (they're likely to win out), and 1 G5. Class of 04 Posted 1 minute ago Posted 1 minute ago If they have to play an extra game, I'd rather it be a playoff game vs. a CCG. Quote
