2027 LB Taven Epps has decommitted from Texas.

Epps committed to Texas back in April, but has decided he will be reevaluating his options moving forward.

Guys, he’s a highly valued player, so saying “deuces” or “don’t care” isn’t exactly the right comment. Texas will continue to recruit. Granted, it’s a long way from 2027 signing day.

Long time from signing day for this guy and he was visiting a bunch of other places that weren’t Texas.
If he’s commits to a rival after being committed here, then you know, break a leg and all that.

Yeah, I don't get that. I wish the kid well and would love to have him back in the class if the coaches see that. 99.9% of us could not handle being a college football coach. We would ABSOLUTELY lose it during recruiting. It just shows the maturity, grace, and patience of these coaches.

My years of being a Youth Pastor would pay GREAT dividends in that profession. It's not easy.
