syracusehorn Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Building and sustaining are different modes of operation. Sark has to successfully transition to a sustaining model. He can't talk about building anymore because he's been here 5 years. He owns it now. He can either sustain what he has built or he cannot. We will see. 1 Quote
CoachBobbyFinstock Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago (edited) That nail was put in the coffin last night. Honestly it started with OU beating Alabama. Texas only had one play and they got clapped instead of fighting. Edited 14 hours ago by CoachBobbyFinstock 1 Quote
watty7796 Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago IMO the biggest issue Texas has is they do not have a physical RB and G/C/G. So my question is which players in either the portal or HS recruiting should Texas be Targeting? At RB Amari Latimer would be a good fit, currently committed to Wisconsin. Dont know about other positions. 1 Quote

Imo we are closer to falling apart than having any business in a CFP. This program needs a reboot specially Sarkisian badly. There are a lot of problems under the surface. I hope there is someone that I’m not aware of that is an adult in the room speaking wise words of council and has a plan in place to right this ship. I have my doubts and Texas football is in a precarious spot…again. Quote

It’s crazy because both are true. Beat two top ten teams, but lose to one of the worst teams in the conference and need miracles to beat two other bad teams. Sometimes we even switch from playoff caliber to bad in the same game (Vanderbilt, Miss St). Feels to me like we’re closer to 7-5 than 9-3, but we’ll see. Either way, huge offseason for the program. HudGar1922 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago yeah looks bad when OU, ATM and Tech are gonna make the playoffs. not a good coaching job all around this year from portal to scheme. Especially the disaster of a run game that falls solely on Sark and Flood. Quote
HookemTexas Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I don't have the stats in front of me, but the crazy thing is that Sark's supposed to be an offensive guru, but this Texas team's offensive production has been pretty weak compared to every other team against the same opponent. It's not like they don't have players either, Texas' backups should be just as talented as half the other teams minus the Georgia's and the Bamas. Can't tell me they aren't as good or better than Miss St. or Kentucky's starters. Quote
