AusMOJO Posted November 24 Posted November 24 Some people are just better at the college level, maybe Sark can give him a ring and we can go win a natty next year. Joking of course, we all know Sark isn't going to hand the offense off to someone else. Although it would be pretty funny to hire him and see where it goes. Quote
brianb722 Posted November 24 Posted November 24 No one? At least no one smart or no one who wants him to do more than be a consultant. I think he's made it pretty clear he doesn't want to do the job of being a college football coach. Quote
SamuraiKnight Posted November 24 Posted November 24 I would love to bring Chip Kelly to help with Offense, though the O did look good against Arkansas. And Bring Wilcox on D. Quote
4thandFive Posted November 24 Posted November 24 Sark isn’t bringing in a guy to run his offense. Quote

Moderators Jeff Howe Posted November 24 Moderators Posted November 24 His last three years at UCLA (8-4, 9-4, 8-5) went a lot better than I thought. 2 Quote
Assistant Regional Manager Posted November 24 Posted November 24 Drama seems to follow him around and he doesn't appear to be the most pleasant guy to work or play for. Quote

If you recall…Ryan Day was running the offense and could not get it ver the hump to finally reach CFP, beat Michigan and get the Natty. Then Day hired Chip Kelly to run the Offense—and suddenly OSU went to the CFP and ultimately won the natty. I can’t help but think “what if” Sark does what Day did last season. 1 2 Quote
Inspired73 Posted November 25 Posted November 25 I am not sure of the "why" of this thread. But, in my evaluation of the Chipper, he is what he is. Or, beware of what you ask for. Quote
Caver60 Posted November 25 Posted November 25 If Klein moves on, Aggies might go for him. It’s a thought. They can afford him. Quote

I saw a Oh St team that was ready to fire Day after losing to Michigan. They caught fire in the playoffs and won. Now Kelly is gone and they’re still rolling. Hard to say how much was Day giving up play calling vs how much did he wrest back after the regular season last year. Quote

Moderators CJ Vogel Posted November 26 Moderators Posted November 26 I could see Kelly at Penn State or UF as a very highly paid OC 1 Quote
