    Folks, the Goosby injury is a clean up, not reconstructive in any way. It’s been a known issue since before A&M, it just wasn’t public. There are two DBs who have to have similar procedures before spring as well.

    Gerry Hamilton has confirmed that Texas would have interest in Ole Miss pass rush Princewill Umanmielen, who has nine sacks this season and is originally from nearby Manor.

    UPDATE: The calculus with Seaton has clearly changed with the signing of Melvin Siani. While I can't say Texas is completely out of it, the thought process has changed. Siani and Goosby are both tackles. Seaton is a tackle. I can not sit here and tell you with 100-percent certainty that Texas is out of it with Seaton, as some are reporting. But I can tell you the calculus has absolutely changed.

    Texas checked out of that recruitment a while back and we reported as such. Others kept putting Texas’ name in there. We did not.

    DL Hero Kanu officially announced his return to Texas today. OTF reported his expected return earlier this month.
