  1. Why is that relevant to how Lane handled the situation like a middle school kid?
  2. And a lot of it is being reported by both OM and LSU sides plus national reporters. So the “I’m not sure I believe all that” doesn’t really fly.
  3. When did I say that? Think you might be talking about something different. Or you lost me at least.
  4. You just proved my point. Happens all the time with the same calendar. Most other coaches have a maturity level above a 13 year old boy though.
  5. Way more. In fact, there couldn’t be a coach who brought on the “more” more than Lane train.
  6. Defending Lane here is kind of funny. He handled it in literally the worst way possible. This wasn’t an “inevitable” situation. It’s like being hidden away in Oxford has made people forgot that he is the biggest a hole in collegiate sports. “But his dog has a twitter! He’s changed!” Ole Miss hid a lot of his shenanigans. LSU is a lot messier and that stuff is gonna get out.
  7. I believe the term you are looking for is “higher ceiling”. Because ole miss was going to match salary and Lane could’ve coasted there with largely no heat even if performance was up and down. To some that’s a better job. At lsu, he might have one or two bad years and next thing you know the bayou trump wannabe is breathing down his neck.
  8. LSU OL was worse than Texas’ lol
  9. Maybe we’ll be their home opener but have to imagine LSU starting their conference season @Ole Miss. Must see TV.
  10. They punished Florida st players for a freak injury.
  11. Impossible to say before the coaching carousel and portal closes. But if I’m taking a guess, I’d say it’s easier. No Georgia so that’s one less auto loss. Ohio st at home. Then the yearly SEC frauds plus toxic Lane on the road.
  12. Not impressed with Sumrall at all.
  13. LSU got Louisiana kids before Wilson and they will get them after. The obsession some of those fans have with him is funny. Corey Raymond too but at least he used to be able to develop at one point.
  14. I had to do a double take watching McMiller’s hudl. Thought it was on fast forward. That dude can move.
  15. No great teams this year. If they make it in just have to avoid Uga and Kirby and they’d have a shot.
  16. Choosing to go to UNC right now is just bad business. Might be the worst situation in p4 football.
  17. Carlton would be the least exciting of the flips to me. Our edge room feels the most healthy and I cant imagine him getting much run until year 3+.
  18. 90s movie football jock villain. Absolute take.
  19. Devonaire Clarington have an extra year of eligibility?
  20. My favorite part was when Sark tried to praise the adjustment they made (tightening up the coverage on the outside) as some big chess move. Dude the fans have been screaming for that for months and your ability to adjust BEFORE the game caused us to get in a 11 pt hole.
  21. Just as we are finding out with Winfield, flipping elite players is becoming harder every year with more buttoned up nil contracts. Having Tech and Aggy lock down half the state before Sark even starts to recruit is going to be a problem.
  22. Awful news. https://x.com/nypost/status/1990091588794462364?s=46
  23. Ehh pure recruiting pitch that if you watched the game you’d know he’s full of it. Physicality was at the bottom of the list of reasons we lost. Preparation discipline communication gameplan 100 other things physicality
  24. Akina only knows how to coach press man. Which PK runs like 5% of the time. Genius hire.
