  1. If this ends up being real, I want to know which Longhorn fan sat on these and chose to release them right before the season.
  2. Had the same thought! No way someone just writes in clear violation evidence like that lol
  3. Wisner.
  4. This is the one I'm trying to make it to.
  5. See y'all in Houston!
  6. Any bets on who the first player is that bangs his head leaning that seat back?
  7. The Swamp is cool, but it's no Horseshoe. If we win at Ohio State, we aren't losing at Florida (barring injuries). Lagway has to stay healthy as well. Doesn't seem likely.
  8. Thanks @Jeff Howe In general, we know defensive cards are less valued. Do you ever see that changing for DLinemen with the increasing value placed on their positions/contracts? The Texas grad in me is still hoping to pull a good TSweat one of these days. Got my BMurphy already. On the hunt for ACollins.
  9. Parsons is still on his rookie contract since the Cowboys exercised their 5th year option. Interesting play. Cowboys "could" get a haul for Parsons, but Jerry would find a way to mess it up.
  10. Good luck. An EO isn't law. This likely gets shot down in Court relatively quick.
  11. I've been a Packers fan since I was a kid (Brett Favre used to be cool). I can't remember the last time I was so excited about our draft class.
  12. Federal legislation can be tailored to fit within the SCOTUS sandbox, or they'll push through legislation knowing it will make its way back to SCOTUS in an attempt to narrow their previous ruling. As for employees, you are correct. Schools are in a weird spot of wanting to cap the madness while not wanting to deal with the employment headache. We'll see. The current landscape will not be sustainable.
  13. Figured this was coming. Poorly defined, if defined at all, "legitimate business purpose" was a legal landmine waiting to be stepped on. If we want real rules, they're going to need to come from Congress or athletes will need to be made employees with CBAs. Otherwise, it's a litigation field day for us lawyers with the way the SCOTUS ruled against the NCAA.
  14. Sad situation to watch a good player getting ready to make it out of a bad area just throw it away. Hope he figures his life out.
  15. EOs aren't "law" per se. Since SCOTUS has already broadly ruled on this issue, the EO is fighting upstream. I don't see this moving the needle much. I do see a lawsuit for a clearinghouse denial coming soon.
  16. QE had his faults, but that dude is a Longhorn through and through. People are quick to forget he is one of the biggest catalysts to the run we are on. I hope he makes the roster in Miami and works the bugs out.
  17. Aggie probably just offered double us lol
  18. So it begins. This should be interesting.
