    Maybe sit recruiting out. It’s just a game. We’re going to “lose” others we think are Texas and gain some we didn’t. We should always celebrate a commitment while crossing our fingers. 80+% stay with Texas after committing. If it’s a true blue chip, folks give themselves a little hope with December dreams. Ain’t rocket science. This dude is gone I think as even ga fans are befuddled. Money is money to a lot of people. Though it’s not my primary motive, I don’t begrudge it even when I don’t understand it. He would have made top money at ga or Texas so that check must have been heavy. Good for Texas having limits. Money is finite regardless of what fans think.

    So we’re crying about mb crying? The right people see him for who he is and wouldn’t let him impact the program today. Someone in his inner cycle continuously lets him down. These quotes don’t help anyone but they kinda ensure he won’t have much weight here if he is involved. If he could make peace and be a perpetual fundraiser, I think he’d be a hit. Kissing babies, story regaling, brand reinforcing, etc. The pasture is hard to reconcile after a life of high success and being in charge. He’s earned some rope but not a seat at the final table imo.

    Our ends, backers, and safeties will be elite if healthy. Our DTs will be serviceable to above average. Corners could hit but we’ll have to see.

    You want to fix the committee, not the independent status. The right committee handles anyone’s weak schedule.

    If Texas were independent, none of you would want to be forced into a conference. That’s not why I don’t care what ND does. At some point, an overly weak schedule will have a negative impact as someone said. I can’t see a world where a sec team has 1 loss and a weakly scheduled undefeated ND is chosen over them especially if the loss was to a strong opponent. Or if it did happen, that would be the rock that corrects the ripple. This is a dye in wool May topic. 🤘🏽

    My traager pro never smokes. I’m googled, you tubed, ai’d, etc. reprimed. What is the trick to smoke? I get a very small and inconsistent puff. Any tips would help.

    Fascinating that this is about sports but those of you that lament his political positions are the very ones introducing politics into this thread. No one cares about your politics or hurt feelings about another’s thoughts that you somehow personalize. Stop the hypocrisy. Keep it about one of greatest eras of a team we saw that’s ending.

    The entire football world sans your mirror thinks Flood recruits good players as a floor and plays his best 7. He is probably more stout at the point of contact than Majors and I believe he’s described as cerebral which is really the key to any drop off. Can he make calls and position people correctly? That was Jake’s superpower. Hutson isn’t a turnstile.

    I think I’ll lean towards excited since it came down to Texas vs Kentucky. He looks like a legit 7 footer, very solid feet vs a plodder, and not afraid to fight/back people down on the block. Pope/Miller or Bierce’s highlight evaluation…😉🙂 Is he Lew? Nah. Could he be a plus player for a college team, TBD.
