    Several times over 2 years but refuses to replicate. He seems routine adverse at the expense of successful habit forming. This is a very sharp human that knows football extremely well. That’s what makes his resistance to change so head scratching.

    Stinger is balls or guts. He knows his offense is waning in confidence so he’s trying to conjure up “eff it, show them who you are”. From arch chip to stingers to we don’t listen to the outside(while addressing the outside) is a diminuendo rallying cry. He keeps trying to fire them up when he needs to fundamental them up. No amount of gippering will save this team. I can’t help but think his outside life is impacting him. He just hasn’t been the same since last summer. I hope is personal world is good first and foremost. He knows football extremely well and I’m at a loss as to why he hasn’t done what’s necessary. 🤷🏽‍♂️🤘🏽

    I think it’s a strength thing. The disposition just exacerbates it. Lawrence must be a dud or we’d see him for baker. Or, one if the Coleman brothers.the juggernaut problem is baker and Roberson are “culture” guys so they’ll never be replaced. Coleman is nasty and that’s what we need to your point. He hasn’t been here long enough to get tamed. I’m actually a big fan of dark but I think his intelligence is crippling the athletes. He was to outsmart everyone versus leveraging far superior athletes. Get your 5 most athletic hosses, strip down the run game, and ask them to take out at the nearest body. 5 down and 6 to go . Make blitzers pay for dating to come forward, lol

    Becton needs to hire a dedicated OL coach to ensure functional strength and anchoring. Ask baker which coaches give him trouble. Hire them. so for most, iron sharpens iron but for us, iron creates rust?

    Arch is struggling 100%. Backups won’t fare better with Robertson/Baker. Do mod sources say anything about a better or guard that can shore it up? Center is a disaster. I stated this concern when they took the other guy back from the pros. You only do this if you have zero bench strength. It’s unconscionable that flood has a job and longhorn nation is not calling for it. Arch’s regression is giving flood a pass and that’s super unfortunate.

    Part of this simply over expectations. This is arch. Yall exaggerated how great he played last year in the 2nd half of the season. Even the mi game was the same cold/hot. Aggie game was terrible for most of it. Now he’s cold/cold. zero doubt he flashes a high ceiling but it’s so rare that he needs to be coached to his floor. He must flash the ceiling with greater regularity in practice and then get in his head during the game. spread is see and throw. That’s probably the best bet though I wish they’d sit him this game. Give him a week to watch.

    💯 I think Bank was out of the box. I’m sure flood helped but that dude was a dude. Flood the recruiter would get credit for that but I’m not sold that the developer gets much.

    It wasn’t the right time or worded question. Sark said vague but meant general/broad and there was zero angry tone or inflection. Y’all have got to stop betching about press conference responses. Nothing said will impact Saturday’s. He also answers the questions honestly. Yall just don’t like the responses. Prior to Saturday, it was I’m not making changes. We have things to clean up. We are close. Still stubbornly optimistic they’d turn the corner. This recent one, every thing needs to be evaluated. You could see it was different. Now, if today we hear how the tape wasn’t as bad, we’re close, and it’s overtly downplayed, our season’s most likely done. He knows there’s no positive to benching manning. We can all pretend that it’s just an x/o decision but it’s much broader. I understand why he’s held out even if I disagree.

    I don’t think this is accurate. Sark seems to always be on simmer. He’s intelligent so he knows how to channel. Yelling isn’t intensity and sark absolutely doesn’t lack intensity. It’s unlikely arch is in his head this badly if sark were a mellow, laid back coach. I think missing last summer impacted the culture much more than we realized. I think sark is confounded right now by arch’s play. No one saw this regression happening. I’m in the minority but his head got belted badly twice earlier this year after the physical beat down year. Something is off with him. his play change after the helmet to helmet against utsa. I hope it’s the yips and not something physical for him. I’d sit him this week to so that he can observe the game.

    We are Groundhog Day, year 6, with regression. At best, we bandaid the rest of a season after an unexpectedly or tough loss. Eerily similar to MBTexasFootball. Lots of talent but can’t deploy it. You don’t fix things that you completely miss in the offseason during the actual season. We wasted spring, summer, fall, and the bye. until flood and banks and are gone, especially flood, we will get the same results. It’s not even about flood’s under performance at this point. It would signal sark is actually all gas, no brakes by making a truly personally difficult decision. Pk wasn’t in the inner circle. No one that is has been touched. That has to change first.

    So you’re just a contrarian. Got it. Of course he owes us wins. It is literally the primary reason a coach keeps or loses his job. Ever see a Bill Belichick press conference? He waxed poetic while fielding media questions.

    Some of yall are funny. Ridiculous but funny. Brains, not balls, are required. Learning relationships, how to learn what you want to know by asking intelligently, maintaining healthy relationships so you’re not cut off, etc. Sark doesn’t owe us answers. He does owe a better product and he’ll either become less stubborn or he’ll be elsewhere. Press conference musings mean nothing in the the real world no matter the size of balls.
